Taking place only 1 week before the SCCA RallyCross National Challenge event in "nearby" Orange, VA, this will be your last chance to shake down your car and get some seat time before the Big Event. In addition, we (THSCC) will be doing Timing & Scoring for the National Challenge event, so you can see how we run things, if you think that might be some advantage to you.  Like the National Challenge event, all drivers will get 6 runs, and your final score will be the total of all 6 runs including penalties!

In any case, we can guarantee you a fun time! For our Event #4 we are back at the BMW Farm in Clayton, where we will be back to running in our "usual" field on the hillside. With a fairly firm surface and good elevation change, this will be similar to the course at the National Challenge event.

Details of the event, specifically times and prices, are available on our website at http://thscc.com/rallycross/events/2006/2006-0701info.html

Due to possibly heavy interest, use of our online registration system is strongly recommended. It's fast and easy to do- try it out at http://thscc.com/rallycross/prereg_rallyx.html

Hope to see y'all there!

Just a reminder that THSCC's next rallycross event, Back 2 Hack! is coming up this Saturday, July 1st, in Clayton, NC.  This site is reminiscent of the site in Orange, VA where the SCCA RallyCross National Challenge event will be held the following weekend, so this would be a great opportunity to get some last-minute seat time in if you're thinking of going to that event.

Even if you're not, this is a fun site, and you're guaranteed six (6) runs.  Other relevant info, like times, prices, directions, etc. can be found on our website at http://thscc.com/rallycross/events/2006/2006-0701info.html

Online registration, though not required, surely makes our lives easier, and is greatly encouraged.  It's fast and easy, and available at http://thscc.com/rallycross/prereg_rallyx.html

Hope to see some of you there!

29 drivers took time out of their holiday weekend to come play in the dirt with us, and they were rewarded with a pair of fast, fun courses, some of the best we've had at the BMW Farm site.

Results are now posted at http://www.thscc.com/rallycross/events/
Select the results for the July 1 event, "Back 2 Hack".

I need to put a last-minute plug in for the SCCA RallyCross National Challenge event taking place next weekend in Orange, VA.  It will be a 2-day event (Saturday and Sunday) with an optional Test&Tune on Friday.  Those guys always put on a great event, and your participation will help grow this new sport.  Read about the event at http://www.scca.com/Event/Event.asp?Ref=3567 and sign up soon!  Best option at this point is to fax your entry in.

Hope to see some of you there!

Is there somewhere I can look at the rules for SCCA rallycross? I have a couple of cars I've considered building for that purpose. Both are rwd.

Well we're not an SCCA club, so you can find our rules at
http://thscc.com/rallycross/info/rallyx_rules.html

If you really want to see the SCCA rules, go to
http://www.scca.com/Rally/RallyCross.asp
Rules are at the "Cars and Rules" link on the left.
