Is the Richmond auto show worthwhile?  I went to the auto show in D.C. several times.  It was a large show and a good opportunity to see new models (vehicles) and sit in some of the cars, although the more desirable models (vehicles) sometimes had waiting lines.

At least when I have been there in the past, it wasn't too crowded... not very many "special" cars as far as concepts etc. but if you are in the market for a new car, it's a great place to go poke your nose into a bunch of cars without hiking to different dealerships all over town. The Miami autoshow was pretty cool, though people were a little confused by me making racecar/heel-toe throttle blip downshift noises while I was sitting in a Saab. I guess the target clientele who were near the car at that time don't frequently make racecar noises. :wtf:

It wasn't bad this year (had a Lambo and Maeseratti display, although I'd take a few Z06's over one of those)
The new FJ cruiser was pretty cool to.

Not to mention Vince Neil was walking around Fri. night which if you liked the loudest band of the 90's you would appreciate.
