The regulations are set forth in the latest issue of CheckPoints that Audie has sent out. They will also be covered in the Club Meeting next Thursday at La Siesta.
Basically:
-No Open (or really loud) exhausts in the first heat
-Registration CLOSES at 10am...Tech Ins. ends SHORTLY after 10...Drivers Meeting at 10:30...First car off at 11am.
-No One can enter the Raceway Complex without signing a waiver at the gate (gate 2).
-If you need to jack up your car, you MUST put a piece of wood underneath the jack to prevent from damaging RIR's asphalt
-No One may leave the Autocross area....That means no walking over to the main track to look around.
Just a few new things to remember over and above our normal rules at an event day of. These few extra steps will well be worth it when everyone sees just how nice the area at R.I.R. is!
Personally, I can't f'n wait!!!!!
Joe

Note that you will have 2 waivers to sign:
One at the gate... you will be asked to show your ID (drivers license) Minors (under 18) will need a minor waiver form signed by a parent or guardian. You will be given your wristband at the gate. Everyone entering the site will need to comply.
The other waiver will be the usual VMSC form at the registration desk along with the worker sign-up sheet- just as before.

Am I load or really load? I don't know, I can't hear a thing... I grabbed the next to last spot in run group 1, (19). Am I too loud for this heat? Carol is in run group 4. Place me in 2 or 3 if the noise is too much. Seat and belt adjustment in this beast takes too long to be in the same heat.

Anyone who doesn't get a checkpoints and wants to see the rules and regulations send me and e-mail, at car-crazy@peoplepc.com and I will send you one ASAP. The really important points are to avoid putting your car into the fence, keep your trash picked up and no burnouts on Laburnam or the RRC property, and the other things Joe listed. One other thing, you can jacvk your car up anwhere on the property without placing something under it EXCEPT the black top running area. Aside from the trailer, that shouldn't be an issue. If you need copy of newsletter, let me know. See everyone on Sunday. Audie

Lu: I moved you to # 37 in the 2nd heat, just to be on the "safe side" of the noise issue. Thanks for being concerned. See you both on Sunday.
