1989 Ford Police Interceptor
Fully Machined:
Magnafluxed block and heads
Bored out .30 over
Heads resurfaced and complete valvejob
New cam bearings
Crank turned
Block cleaned

Parts List:
Stock Heads
Hi-Torque Roller Cam
Stock Crank

asking $1500 obo

I'm quite sure that while it may fit, the engine would reject being in such an environment. You see, it needs to be in an AUTOMOBILE.

Assuming that the motor has the same external dimensions as a 5.0 (I don't know much about 306 vs. 302 to know if it's the same motor family since Ford does have 2 separate families with often-similar displacements) but the 5.0 HAS been shoehorned into a Miata many times. Monster Miata used to do this conversion back in the early 90s, there are probably a number of companies that sell the parts to do it.

"Hey, look at that EStock Miata, I didn't know they could smoke the tires in 3rd!"

It would be a shame to do all that work and still be slower than a N/A MR2.

the engine has the same exterior dimensions as a 302 because it is a 302 block bored out to a 306 anyone interested?Huh?
