The season may be over, but it's just about time for another garage movie night!

Link to original Movie and Garage Night thread

Much as we'd love to have it at Engelbert's *every* month, I'm not sure Claudia would go for it.  Grin
So - would anyone like to volunteer to host for November?

Requirements are minimal, just space for folks to sit and some way of displaying the movie.
(A couple of folks have access to projectors, but a decent sized TV works fine too.)

If you can provide pizza or similar low-budget fare, so much the better.  Attendees generally
offer to bring beverages to share.

Oh yeah, and we should probably pick a movie too.

Well, my trip was canceled.... I don't want to go into any detail.

Here is a suggestion: Why not watch the F1 of the Americas next sunday Huh?

Just thinking

I am really happy this reached critical density Smiley.

If no one new wants to volunteer, I would be happy to have it at my place again.  End of the month, like Nov 29-30?

I will have to double check the available car movies in my collection.

That could be fun, except Sunday afternoon is prime time for *using*
the garage, not watching TV in it!

Alright, I should have my Civic back together after Christmas and be able to get it out of the garage under its own power.  Seems like it's time to pull the engines out of the Miatas.  Rather than a movie night, is anybody up for hanging out and pulling a few motors during the day on Saturday or Sunday (12/29 or 12/30)?  Let me know what works.  I'm about 25 minutes West of 288 and 60.  I will PM those interested with my address.

Let's do Saturday.  10 am through at least 2pm? I will get some kind of food for lunch.

Somebody at work came by our office with one of these.

http://www.amazon.com/3M-Streaming-Projector-Powered-SPR1000/dp/B008X1BV2Y

It really works!  It probably won't compete with your 1080p 70" plasma TV, but it would
be perfect for the next garage movie night.  The price is right, at least!

So, somebody want to buy one and invite us over??   Grin
