One of my co-workers just bought an '09 3 series from Carmax w/28k on it.  He's looking at getting either their extended warranty program, or BMWs.  The Carmax one is cheaper and appears to be pretty comprehensive, but I've never heard any feedback as to whether it's actually any good when you need to use it.

He's got until tomorrow to accept/decline the Carmax warranty.  Does anyone here have any experience with it or have you heard feedback on it?

I got the CARMAX warranty on the vette and had the rear end leak fixed at a Chevy dealership under warranty

It was a $400 job and I only had to pay the $75 deductible

Only one experience, but it was a good one.
