We've scheduled Saturday, March 17th at Murray Automotive, just over the Powhatan border to mount and balance tires for the upcoming season.  The shop has all the right equipment to do any wheel/tire combo you would have properly.  The owner is opening up just for us on Saturday and will charge a special rate of $10 per tire to mount and balance.  So, order your tires in time and we'll see you out there.

When: Saturday March 17th, 9am until at least 11am
Where: Murray Automotive, 1731 Douthit Ct, Powhatan
What: tire mounting and balancing, $10ea

In case you're wondering how to get there, it is super easy.  Douthit Ct is right off of Midlothian Tpke/RT 60, ~3mi West of 288.  If you plan on attending, please post here so we can get an idea of how many people there will be.  I'll be there, if you have any questions or need to contact me the day of, I can be reached at (215) 378-1747.

Also, if you want some cheap, lightly used R-compounds, contact John Berget of http://www.jbracingtires.net/ and ask what he's got in stock.  I've had the best luck calling him, his number is on the website.

So I need to make sure I get my set of slicks by then. I got my used slicks from John Berget, good deal. However, I plan to get a new set for this year.

Cheers

I hot my slicks, So I will have 6 tires to remove and 4 to mount.

The bad thing is that Froggy will not be ready for the next 6 - 8 weeks.

Need to check if the wheels fit on the Boxster  Huh?

Also, for anyone interested in learning how to setup/use the timing equipment, we'll be going through it at the tire day.

The engine is kaputt.

Cleaned Teile all weekend. Have the Cyl. Piston and head at Lufteknic. I hope I can reuse the Cyl. and pistons.

For the sake of the head count, I'll be there but have no tires to mount.
Just coming to hang out and learn about timing stuff.

(How big is the parking lot there?  We could bring some cones.......  Grin )
