I went as a spectator two years ago. Anyone planning on driving at this event? I know a few VMSC folks go each year.

How much experience would you recommend someone has before they think about entering? Are there any qualifications needed, or is a pay your money and enter type of deal?   Thanks. - Steven

I don't think it matters how experienced you are. I always learn from others with slower cars showing me how its done.

Just jump in and swim. I had never done a national tour autocross before I ran nationals. I learned a ton and and am looking very forward to going back this year.

Prosolo is awesome. It is a bit different in that it starts off with a drag style Christmas tree. You and one of your competitors side by side, running mirrored courses. They have practice starts available on Friday. I would definitely try it.

I felt the same way in 2001 when I ran my first, and have run every DC/Petersburg ProSolo they have done since. Just hope I can find a decent co-drive for the event this year.

Thanks for the advice and encouragement, I think I will consider entering this year as long as the car is sorted out.
