Hey all, I'd like to invite all of you to the upcoming Evo Schools on July 30-31 at Meadow Event Park. These schools will be some of the cheapest in the country, with a one day Phase One or Phase Two running just $225, and for those who would like to attend both days, we've set that price at $400. I know that some of you have been asking how come Evolution is able to run here, but you all are not, and the answer comes down to this, we are a driving school, and not a competition. I am under the impression that the county issue will be resolved very soon, and you guys should be good to go. Now for those who aren't that familiar with our program, I encourage you to take a look at our classes section of our website at: http://www.evoschool.com/index.php?page=classes Our Phase One and Phase Two Programs will net each driver a minimum of 24 runs per school. So those taking both the Phase One and Phase Two will get 48 runs over two days with our National Level staff on instructors. Currently for this weekend, we have myself as well as Courtney Cormier schedule to teach, but if numbers allow, we'll be bringing in additional instructors. For some of you, this will be like getting a years worth of autocrossing in two days! Registration can be found on our website here: http://www.evoschool.com/index.php?page=evolution-performance-driving-school-phase-one-meadow-event-park-doswell-vahttp://www.evoschool.com/index.php?page=evolution-performance-driving-school-phase-two-meadow-event-park-doswell-vahttp://www.evoschool.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=258If anyone has a questions, please feel free to contact me any time at junior@evoschool.com We hope to see you there!

It's been several years since there has been an Evolution school in this area and I'm going to take full advantage of this opportunity to improving my driving.... The cost may seem a bit steep but the return on investment is what it's all about to me. I can't tell you how many times well ranked national competitors have told me that they made more improvements in two days with Evolution then they have in ten years of trying on their own.

mighty tempting! I might do it just to get rid of my front tires and get some new wider tires! Dunno yet. Chris, you have to complete phase 1 before you can go to phase 2.

I have taken both phase 1 and phase 2. The experience is invaluable. If you are concerned about tires, run your streets. It is more about the concepts than anything. It is especially helpful to someone like you guys that are fast, but want to get faster. These are the instructors to show you the minute changes that will get you there. I am looking forward to it!

Uh oh... just as I was pulling out of the garage to go on vacation for the week, I noticed a small dribble of oil under the back of the Porsche. Definitely a new thing in the past day or two. She may simply have been pouting at being left behind, but I need to figure out how to investigate this before the class this weekend.

No need for galoshes here. Just frustrated that I can't get a closer look. Little drip 1Little drip 2(I don't think there are two drip sources; just two different parking positions.)

I would... if I weren't four hours away on family vacation.
(And the new lift won't get here until next week or so anyway.)

Could be depressing, actually, if I don't have a car to put on it.... Word from the shop is that the drip is coming from the bell housing/engine seam. Will know more in the morning when I can drive to where there's a cell phone signal. I don't suppose the school offers loaner cars as well as helmets?

My recollection is that rear main seal problems on 996s are pretty common. Hope yours is something simple.

They won't know until they pull the trans & clutch, but it could range from replacing the bearing to replacing the whole motor. In any case, I definitely won't have a car this weekend so I'm out. One small consolation is that I won't have to bake in the 100 degree heat forecast for Saturday. Y'all stay cool! b.

Will know more in the morning when I can drive to where there's a cell phone signal. I don't suppose the school offers loaner cars as well as helmets? Considered a rental car? The concepts learned will carry over and it saves wear on your tires. Can't say how many times I've run a rental, but it is more than once. Most places will rent something for less than $50-60 for the weekend.
