pardon my ignorance, but how does Hoosier sizing work? because I MIGHT be interested if these will fit my wheels

23 is the outside diameter in inch
9.5 is the width of the tire
15 is the wheel diameter
these tires you can fit on 15 x 6 - 8 wheels.

Yeah, that would rub.    You could always do a little fender rolling.

After some internet searching and a little math, I came up with a 245/45/15 would be a close approximation of the Hoosier tire size. 241.3/41.9/15 to be exact. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.
