I was curious if any members use insurance companies that will still provide collision coverage at an event? (hopefully no one will ever have to worry about this but just in case)
I'm afraid to ask my agent for fear that they may become suspicious after the inquiry and I'd imagine they wouldn't cover something like that.

What companies offer this kind of coverage and how expensive are these policies vs. a normal auto policy?

thanks,
Brian

Seems like it would benefit the auto insurance industry by creating safer drivers (reactions in emergency driving situations) but I guess the ones making the call on claims see 'motorsports' and assume the worst.

I think it is unfortunately commonplace that decisions are not based on rational thought.
