Wheel Studs

I'm preparing to mount some wheels that have a thicker center than the originals and I fear that the studs are too short.
Anyone know the length of stud that the lug nut should grasp?
Thanks,
Chuck Edwards

I was able to find the answer:
Size of
Bolt or Stud-Mininum Number of Turns
14x1.5mm-7.5
12x1.5mm-6.5
12x1.25mm-8
1/2" - 8
9/16" - 8

Should this be part of our Technical inspection?
