Just a quick question
I have a garage in which I can store my Hoosier slicks. The Garage does not have heat. Should I store my tires in the house. Also I have read that slicks should be bagged. It that true?

Storage
When racing season comes to an end, Racing slicks are usually thrown in the corner of the garage to collect dust until the spring. Unfortunately, this type of neglect can reduce tire life and compromise performance. During winter months, or whenever tires are being stored for long periods of time, Ken suggests removing them from the car or jacking the car off the ground to remove load. Drop the air pressure to 5 psi and keep the tires away from direct light. "It's best to keep them covered up and avoid exposing them to extremely high or low temperatures," he explains. "Also, keep tires away from electric motors, furnaces, and air compressors, since they create damaging heat."

Racing tires should always be bagged when not in use, not just in the winter.

I use about 10 rolls of duck tape and wind it around the tires, pack them in black trash bags, about 4 times, push them under the bed.  Grin

When spring time comes I take the tires out of the trash bag, leave the duck tape on unit the fist race. Before leaving to the first event I take off the duck tape and the tires will sick like hell. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

If you don't have duck tape and have no space under your bed, the bags will work also  Roll Eyes

Good luck and cheers.
