I currently have a Recaro Pole Position in my car and I'd like to slowly start prepping the car to do HPDE events.   Due to my size a bucket is a must for my car but the problem I'm running into is the harness holes on a lot of seats are way too low to be safely used with harnesses.   

I'm in the Richmond, VA area and looking for locals with various seats that would allow me to take a sit and see how it fits.  If the seat can't fit a 34 waist comfortably or a squeeze for a 36 I don't want to even try it. 

The ones I'm most interested in are listed below:

Sparco Evo2
Sparco Evo2 Plus
Cobra Imola
Cobra Imola GT
Cobra Suzuka
Cobra Suzuka GT

I'll gladly entertain anything else but those are on the top of my list for replacements.   I had a Recaro Profi XL which fit me great but the seat itself was a tad too big.   It needs to fit in an s2000.

I think I know the answer already but I'll put it out there just to be sure.

The car is a 2006 S2000 with the following mods:

-17x9 rpf1s with 255 Hankook RS3
-KW Clubsport coilovers
-Eibach front sway bar
-Rolled fenders (They are slightly flared with I believe is illegal for STR)
-OEM hard top with soft top removed
-Rear diff collars (They turn the factory diff mounts/bushings into more of a solid mount)

I think some of those mods will put me into SM but is there a more open modification class for guys just running street tires?  I'm not at the point of wanting to move to r-comps

I had a blast yesterday.  Life has been busy and this is the first event I've been to since Meadow Event Park back in April.  I really liked the course a lot. 

Picked a set of wheels that had these tires on them and the tires are the complete wrong size for my car.  Tires have less than 1,000 miles on them and look just about new.  

Looking to get $350 picked up for the tires.

Pics look good.  ^I'm right there with you on that one.  I think that is the biggest mistake newcomers make.  I know the first time I went out I was trying to drive the car into the ground.  Last time I tried to be a little more smooth and it paid off.

ok, so the event is not up on MAE but it says it's at RIR? original schedule said VMP I believe.  Sorry guys really not trying to bust anyone's chops just trying to plan for the event.

Thanks for getting back so quickly.  I definitely hope to make it.  Just curious as to why it isn't on the myautoevents page while most of the other ones that are later in the year are? 

can you confirm this event list is still 100% correct?

The above list shows next autocross as sept. 6 at VMP but when going to registration that event isn't listed.  Is it just not up yet or will that event not be happening?

I'm looking for someone around Richmond or within an hour or so outside that has a recaro pole position seat that I can try to sit in.
