In the interest of being a good sport: I reportedly coned my final and fastest run, though the computer and sheet showed otherwise. Two eye-witnesses confirmed the cone's horizontal orientation. I found out about it after my run. My FTD for once street-able vehicles shall hereby be blemished with this footnote. EDIT: to anyone wondering, I was the kid in the slate-colored Grassroots Motorsports work shirt walking around, during the first head holding a gold VMSC open-face helmet
Were you the one that I gave a ride to in the Orange Miata?

I can't make the meeting, I have to pick up someone from the airport at 8 PM.
We should also look in a 2 hour radius, not just Richmond. I'm sure someone can tow the car home. I don't have the equipment to tow, but I'm willing to drive to get it. Baltimore, DC, NoVA, Raleigh, VA Beach, Charlottesville.

yeah, Mr. Lloyd, you looked great out there! I thought it was Mr. Marx himself until I saw the Orange helmet.
Whats up with that RX-8? Those guys were kicking butt! I didn't even recognize the drivers.

What an awesome day! Thanks to the ODs for such a smooth day. It was a great course, too -- simple, yet difficult. Easy for the novices to get a clean run, but difficult on the more experienced drivers to place a good time. The rain even held off all day. There's something very attractive about being home by 3 PM See you all in May.

The Home that has the drop down menu is on the home page of the main website (next to Contact Us), not the home link on the forum (w/ Help next to it).
The Home page drown down works in every browser version i've tested (safari, IE 6/7, Firefox 1.5+).
OIC, that works in my firefox (v2.0.0.13) and IE7 (which I have to use at work).

what? There's a dropdown when you hover over "Home" by "Help"? Hmm, I'm on IE 7 and I don't see a dropdown. Cory, web browser components that don't work aren't your problem because you use something other than IE. In this day of the browser wars, web developers need to ensure components like these work in all browsers. They must not realize the market share; or maybe I don't realize it. I'm not poking fun at this site! I'll be the first to admit, this is further advanced than I could have ever made this site. I just don't like hearing you say its your problem.

It seems I didn't have the events on my calendar through MAE. That probably explains the lack of notificaiton. It still doesn't hurt for us to announce it or have something on our homepage that indicates the reg is open (like TSCC).

What's the displacement cut-off for STX? I'm too lazy to look, but I think it's below 3 liters.
I hate when people are lazy from http://www.moutons.org/sccasolo/Rules/street_touring.htmlSTS: "Vehicles eligible for this category include all coupes/sedans with a minimum of four seats, four seatbelts; that are non-sports car based with maximum engine displacement of 3.1 liters, normally aspirated and certain small displacement turbocharged sedans. No limited slip differentials are permitted except for factory standard viscous coupler type units." STX: "Engine size allowance: up to 5.1, normally aspirated and 2.0, forced induction (single turbo or supercharger). "

the "on parking lot" bit has been around for at least 1-2 years. I recall seeing it while researching reckless driving after my most recent offense. Back then there was a bit that said "without the property owner's permissions." Without that, autocrossing would be illegal. I hope that text remains!
